Hot swappable hard drive bays

Okay, here is my computer:

I'm wondering how to install hard drives in those hot swappable bays? Is it simply as easy as buying the internal hard drives, and just pushing them into that bay and they work? Or do I have to take the housing apart? If anyone has done this before and can offer some advice, would be much appreciated.

As far as I know, hot swappable bays are universal except for Velociraptor hard drives and the newer solid state drives. It should just be a plug-and-play deal.
