I am only fourteen, so i dont have a whole lot of money to spend, so i dont want to buy some $3000 laptop. But in fact i was looking into the Apple MacBook 13"White 2.0Ghz Intel Core2 Duo White 1GB (2x512) 80GB SuperDrive. I am into photos and music and i know apples are great for that sort of thing, but how are they for students such as myself and would you advice on making a purchase such as this?

Apples are fine computers, they don't have the same variety of software and freeware that windows has, but they are less of a hassle virus/adware/spyware wise if you just into music/photos etc. You wouldn't have the same selection of games that you would on a windows computer either. Could you be more precise about what exactly you want to do?

If you even need a laptop, I'd go with Dell. Either their E1405's or their E1505's.
