S shrshr429 New Member Aug 22, 2009 #1 I developed a batch file on xp that will add text to a file. When i run the batch file on vista or windows 7 it says "Acces is denied". My question is, is there anyway to either bypass this to allow access, or simply ask the user permission.

A aviation_man New Member Aug 22, 2009 #2 Right click on file, Go to the Security tab, and give you're self full permissions by pressing edit and selecting your name and then selecting "full control".
