how can i play videos on my wii browser?

hi all im on my wii right now typing this, so the wii browser works wonderfully! my only question is why wont videos load? youtube and other sights just wont work unfortunetely... anyone care to help?
 
Youtube videos are Flash videos... If the Wii browser doesn't have the Flash Plugin, it won't work :)
 
huh... well i will go looking for flash plugins for the opera internet browser i guess lol... thanks for the help
 
Yes, I know that playing YouTube videos is actually an advertised feature of the Wii browser, so you must be missing a plug-in or update of some kind from Nintendo. Just double-check everything else too and make sure you didn't miss an update along the way as well...
 
kk thanks for the help, i was able to force an update to the same one i already had, because apparently the last install was broken... i had a friend come over and fix it, he prides himself to being a wii guru and i guess he's right lol
