How can this not be too good to be true? (computer from newegg)

So I'm in the process of buying a new computer. I got all the pieces I want put together and now I'm shopping around to see if I can get a better price elsewhere. Then I come upon this.

It is better than I can build myself and for cheaper. Am I a horrible shopper or is there something wrong with this build? Could it be a price misprint? Any comments are much appreciated.

You can build a similar system for that price, with better quality parts to boot. There is no need for 9gb of ddr3, 6gb is plenty, and you will get a far better psu, mobo, memory will be higher quality, etc:

OS: Windows 7 HP 64bit

Memory:

Although...your better off going 1156 at this price range:

CPU: i7 860

Mobo: Foxconn inferno katana

Case: CM690II Advanced
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119216

PSU: Earthwatts EA750
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371026

HDD: 7200.12 1tb

ODD: Sony optiarc dvd burner
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827118032

OS: Windows 7 HP 64bit
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116754

Total: $1,311.91 And with that you get better case, better(faster) memory(albeit 2gb less), better mobo, better GPU.

Either of these builds will smoke that, the 5830 and 5850 are both quite a bit better than a GTX260, and the power supplies are far higher quality, as are the motherboards.

get the second build but get an additional 2 gigs so u can run in triple channel

It doesn't...not unless you're running some really huge editing software. Win7 can run just fine on under 2 gigs, and game well with under 3.
