How can uninstal a Register "Marker"?

Hi guys:
I realized de que many programs, when installed, leave in your PC some kind of a marker or something, for the program to be able to recognize for how long the program has been installed, or if THIS has been installed previously. My guess is that such a "MARKER" is an item that is installed in the REGISTER or such.
Questions:
(1) Does somebody know how to recognize which items in the register, has been installed by which programs?
(2) Does somebody know, how to uninstall these items without screwing up the system itself?
I'll be grateful for any kind of information or help provided.

Cheers

Go to start run and type regedit. Go to edit and click find. Search for the program and delete any keys for that program. Be careful not to delete anything else as wrong things deleted could cause major problems. Or you can use a program called CCleaner and run the reg cleaner to clean out old stuff. CCleaner is much easier, faster, and safer.

You mean so you can reinstall a program with a time limit so that you can get it to run again and not pay for it when the time's up?

I've tried what g25racer said. Many times. No good.

CCleaner will just get rid of the key that reminds the program that your time is up. So then you can reinstall the trial and have another 30days or w/e. CCleaner will not "crack" anything. DUH! CCleaner is a reg cleaner and temp file cleaner and not a "cracker".

Wasn't sayin' it was a crack, g. Just saying that when I deleted known keys in Regedit, I couldn't reload the program with a restarted time limit. 'Tis all.
