I used ATI catalyst to try to overclock my gpu. However, pc wizard sees no difference when i go to display settings. How do i tell if it actually worked?

There are different clock settings for low and high performance on the X1K series. What I would do is use ATI Tool and overclock both of them the same.

Sorry,i dont understand.
I used the ATI Catalyst tool. It has a place called "ATI Overdrive" and has sliders for memory and gpu clock. I increased both but nothinh changed under PC Wizard for either.

Why don't you try powerstrip or Riva Tuner to find out what your GPU and GRAM frequencies are and the cross reference that with stock frequencies. The only problem with that is that some manufacturers overclock their cards at the factory, so you have to find out if you have got the factory overclocked version or not.

What about powerstrip? I think that is abit more user-friendly. For, Riva tuner, in the drivers section, click on that little triangular tab on the main page, there should be an option for advanced setting which is where the overclocking settings are. Try powerstrip, its better for novices.
