How do i clear everything on my computer?

i tried to upgrade my lappy and it was working perfect i turned off my comp and now it its really messed up it reboots tiime after time. so i tried to install xp again, now i have 2 versions of xp. i just wanna clean it all and start brand new i guess. also this is a used compy so i dont have a dell recovery disc so ill need the drivers for a Dell Latitude C610 can anyone help me? i tried to delete the partitions but it wont let me. can u provide links for me? please help me... this is a work compy i really need it for work
 
when you put in the xp disk in and boot up to install, if you just go about installing xp on your computer, you should get a choice to format your drives. to clear everything on the computer (this means all the files), thats what you wanna do, then you can just continue with the xp installation.

i don't know anything about the drivers or the recovery disc though sorry.
 
It's a good idea to go under control pannel, system, device manager and write down everything that way it's easyer to find drivers for the stuff windows doesn't automatically detect when you're done reinstalling it.
