How do i download files on linux os

I am trying to download a keylogger on my computer i recently had linux installed on its called Ubuntu and the key logger is Home Keylogger v1.60. i installed it on my windows computer and it works fine and it should work for linux it says it works in linux environment's.

bro thats is only for windows machine, i checked in the download section there are no ports for linux.
Besides you can't run .exe on linux (without using other method)
 
i can't make anything out of the screen, the res is too low, but i see the file is tar.gz.
unzip it using code :

$ tar zxf FILENAME.tar.gz

then using the cd command navigate to the extracted folder and do :

# ./configure
# make
# make install

if the above does not work then the archive has an SH script. do this:
./filename.sh
keep in mind, linux is nt just about fun and games and visual elements....
