hello all i have a Asus notebook that is not quite 3 years old. And for the last 6 months or so it occasionallly freezes up on meand that is on mains power..But wen i got to battery power within 5 minutes it does this..wat could be the cause of this issue and how would i go about fixing it without going to a IT person. Any help would be much appreciated cos its really annoyig problem to have.

Honestly I would just to a reinstall of windows, it's really simple you just need the disk that came with the laptop (mine was a white and blued disk). Make sure you back up the files that you need as everything will be erased. Then just pop the disk in, reboot and select the option for clean install of windows (something like that), hopefully it will be good as new afterwords
