how do I get HDTV?

Hey everyone,

I have a pci-e 256mb x800xt with vga, dvi output..

my monitor is a 19" LCD vga (no dvi)

I've seen hdtv cards such as from ati or FusionHDTV, but I am not sure if I need a new monitor or what. The cards are pci and come with an antenna.. that's all well and good, but will i be able to watch in high def with my non dvi monitor?

I hope this isn't a stupid question.. I'm just unfamiliar with HDTV.

You need a TV-Tuner with HDTV support.

so a card (such as the ATI HDTV tuner) and that's it? or do I also need a monitor that supports hdtv?
