How do I install framedyn.dll?

Am a newbie to this site and have a question. I needed a dll file called "framedyn.dll" in order to run spybot properly and so downloaded this.

I have unzipped it with Winzip but how do I actually install it on my PC.

(I keep getting an error code saying "unable to locate component framedyn.dll" every time i run spybot, although spybot properly installed)

Please help?!

simply find the folders where all the DLL's go andd copy and paste it.
a more effective way would be to simply re-install it

is this a dll that you need to register? or do you just need to place the dll in a certain folder?

You can make the error go away by dumping it into a directory that is in your PATH variable (like system32) but I believe it's supposed to be in %SystemRoot%\System32\wbem (probably c:\windows\system32\wbem) If the dll is already in there you need to add the directory to your path.

1. Click Start, right-click My Computer, pick Properties
2. Click the Advanced tab.
3. Click Environment Variables.
4. Select the Path variable
5. Click edit and put ";%SystemRoot%\System32\wbem" (without quotes) on the end.

Thanks for the advice...my system is a 64bit. Do i still type in the commands you have noted or something else?

(I have uninstalled spybot and reinstalled a few times but still get the same message every time I run it)

Thanks
