How do I reset clear BIOS/CMOS password on Asus B43F?

I bought an ASUS B43f-A1B on eBay and the seller said that it was locked but didn't say it was the BIOS password and I'm stuck. I'm considering taking it apart and removing the CMOS battery (if it has one).

Will that work or is that a stupid idea?

Does it have an OS or are you trying to install a new one? Instead of going into BIOS, there might be an option at the same screen that is the boot menu. My friend bought a netbook with the same problem and I was able to boot from a flash drive and install 7 on it.

Removing the CMOS battery is probably going to be the easiest and fastest way. Especially if you're lucky enough to have it sitting under one of the rear panels.
