W Wayneous New Member Jun 26, 2007 #1 Hi all I've got a old 15" LCD and I would like to hook it up with my current 17" LCD. Tried plugging this "adapter" on and plugging it on the port but no response. Do I need to goto control panel -> display to do something? Thanks in advance. Wayne

Windows XP: Normally, you can right click the desktop view of Windows, and go to Properties. Once there, you go to the Settings tab. (I think! ) You should be able to choose the second monitor from the drop-down menu. Then check the "extend my desktop to this monitor" box. This is all off of memory, as I use Vista now, so forgive me if it isn't exact! Best of luck!
