How Do I Upload a Cd track to YouTube ?

If I stick a cd in my windows media player, how do I get a particular track/song to up-load to my YouTube channel? I have never up-loaded anything to my channel yet.

Ignoring the fact that it will likely be taken down having your account being issued a copyright strike, what you'll probably want to do is open the track with some video editing software, insert an image or background and then render it as a "video"

Be sure to check the audio options as you'll want to ensure it stays CD quality.

Also be aware that youtube applies their own compression so you will never get 1:1 quality compared to CD or other lossless source.

Music that is in the public domain will be ok I understand...
So I have to download some video editing software first ? Which one works best ?
