How do I use a RAR file?

Download the latest WinRar from www.rarlab.com, then install it.
After that right click and extract your files.

I didn't know WinZip could even open RAR files.

WinRAR is much better then WinZip anyways, but to each his own.

Yeah, I had no clue either. I've always used WinRAR - in fact the reason I started using it was I didn't think WinZip could open .rar files. If I'm compressing files I'd rather use WinRAR personally though, compresses it a bit more than .zip
