How Do I Use Digital?

Hey guys,
I just got a LG 19" Widescreen for my birthday, and it didnt come with a DVI cable. I bought one today, and plugged it into my monitor and video card, and tried to switch it over on my monitor. When I switch it, it says "Digital Power Saving Mode". How do I get Digital? I have both the D-Sub and the DVI cables plugged in right now. Thanks

unless you are dualviewing only one should be used. if dvi then use the dvi. make sure on the display property it is showing as your monitor name + digital and not dsub.

Make sure the DVI cable is the only one plugged from your video card to monitor, take the VGA out of the video card and monitor as well. You may need to power cycle the monitor and/or computer before it starts sending an image through D-SUB.

Thanks for the help. I got it up and runnin. I have both cables hooked up, but i just messed with some settings on my video card settings. Thanks guys.
