how do I wipe my computer?

hey everyone, new here.
I'm a complete newb when it comes to doing stuff to my comp. My question is how do i completely wipe my computer so it's how i got it out the box? i have all the original CD's (it didn't come with a floppy drive) and I have saved all the things i want to keep to disk so I don't want to save anything. any help would be much appreciated,

There are probably a couple of reformat discs that came with your computer, see if you can find them.

use the O/S disc, most of them boot

thanks for the replys, believe it or not i was doing what you said, I was just using disk 2 instead of disk 1 oh well live n learn eh. cheers, Rich.
