RAM- http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=20-161-612&catalog=23&manufactory=BROWSE
SOUND CARD- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=29-102-177&depa=1
SPEAKERS- http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=36-121-123&depa=0

Is this a good set up for games like swat 4, call of duty, sims, half life, and everyday computing? Please let me know what you think or what you suggest. Thanks in advance!

I think the video card MX4000 is not very good for games,if you have enough money, you can buy 9600 or 9550,even 6800GT,it can run 80 percent games in good effect.
ram:you'd best sell your old ram and buy a 512MB for your compruer is running with less fault.
If you are not an musician, you could not by a sound card, the sound card on your mainboard is enough for you.

the speaker you choose is an 2.1 track's speaker,it just fit for the sound card on your mainboard.
just my own opinion...

I didn't think the dell 2400 came with a P4, but a celeron @ 2.4-2.6 Ghz. You may want to consider upgrading your motherboard to one that contains an AGP slot. I think you will be disappointed with a PCI card.

The prolink (#1) appears to be the faster of the two, although there isn't going to be much difference

Whoa the 9550/9600 and 6800GT are in two totally different classes :p

which one of these is better?
The first one

Good luck ... Dell is pretty proprietary
You'd know :D

will it be a big difference from my integrated graphics I have now
Most likely but id need to know the exact make/model of the integrated controller

No need to bump in less than one day
