Being a Dj i want to make a compilation music DVD and i use Nero, what i want to know is... how or what type of disc i use for burning files like a DVD movie? Like when you rent a DVD it plays for over 2-3 hrs + Bonus. When i burn my videos it only runs for about 1hr and a half. Do i use a DVD ram or am i not doing this properly?

Most commercial DVDs are duel layer(around 8GB) Most DVD-R's and DVD-RAM's are only 4.7GB. If you want it to last longer, you have to bump the compression up.

Thanks for the reply, bump up the compression? Are you meaning to re-format my burning software? Yes i see that they are all 4.7GB Would i have to resize the quality or try to reduce to a smaller video format?

Basically yes... Changing the resolution or just setting the compression higher would work. Or you could even try a duel layer DVD, but I hear those are fairly incompatible with many devices
