how do you decide which poer supply to go with?

heres what im working with
p4 3.0 e
asus p4p 800se

2x 512 mb corsair matched 3200

a sound blaster 24-bit card

1 30gb maxtor
1 80gb seagate

1 cdrw

1 dvd/cd drive

1 3.5 drive

i currently run a radeon 9000 128mb card
i want to run a 6800 ultra card

i am told that card requires its own power plug and i doubt my current power supply has it

i also run 2 case fans

so which power supply is the right bang for my buck?
i like new egg.

Actually the 6800 Ultra requires two connectors. Also says requires 350W PSU, but recommends 480W PSU.
 
Just buy a good PSU and you'll be fine ... not too much importance between which specific good ones etc :) Some good ones to consider:
- OCZ PowerStream
- Antec TruePower
- Antec Neo (the modular one)
If yer getting an SLI system look for soemthing with about 30A or more on the 12V rail :)
