so i saw a few vids on youtube of people playing guitar hero and some of those songs were not on the game or in the download able content so how can you get them
 
Some songs you can buy/downlaod from the marketplace (and also PS3s equivalent).

I think on PS2, you could actually mod the game but discussion ofthat wouldnt be allowed here i believe
 
You are correct, modding any hardware or software outside of the EULA is not allowed here. As for the original question, it might be some beta stuff that somebody was able to get a hold of or something...
