How many of you have vista ultimate in ur system right now? how do you like it, better/worse than what you had before? any complants? thanks i need to decide if i want to get this o/s....

I love Windows Vista Ultimate. However, personally, I think it's a rip-off. I mean, just for an OS it costs like $400?? That is ridiculous. I recommend that you get the Home Premium version, because even if you get home premium, you aren't missing out on anything. (Except for the fact that Windows Vista Ultimate has more secure drive encryption etc, but normal people don't have to worry about it . Besides, Bit-locker doesnt work with all of the drives.

I got stuck with the Home Premium when going to get the Ultimate OEM release! That runs for about $199-$209 without the retail carton and large Windows book. $200 for a cardboard box and paperback book? The retail price seen on the Home Premium is seen at $269.99. Gee? what did I pay... something like $119.99 for the OEM release.
