Hi! I was just installing the Open SUSE Linux, and then I encountered an error hat said "error when installing boot configuration file" or something similar to that. And then it said "Would you like to hange the settings?" something like that. And then I pressed back 2 times, then it said "Installation completed" without installing the boot configuration file. Then it said "Restarting in 10 seconds..." Then the computer restarted, and I'm stuck right now at that stage. I have no idea what's going on. Can you please help me and tell me how to continue the installation?

Hey yo,re-format your drive and re-start the setup again.dont touch anything if you're new to linux just click next, next etc..choose ur desktop gnome/KDE whichever then continue (next, next).Dont alter anything, leave as is.Suse will partition ur drive without any probs if u didn't go to partitioning.
After all that done it will re-start only then will u be able to configure root' password,Username, workroup etc...its fairly easy if u didn't fiddle with the advance options....hope u understand what im saying.Becoz my very first suse setup i just did what i said..next,next etc...then after understanding linux i was able to go to advance options.

boot off the OS disc, then when it says update or new installation there will be a button towards the bottom left that says options. Click on that and do a recovery install and it will scan your current install and try to repair it.
