how do you publish a website.

so if i have all my web pages and pics/text files/flash/ etc. all put together in a web design program(dreamweaver), how do i publish it to make viewable to the public? I know i have to upload it to a server, but how do i do this and are there any good free places that will host. I dont need a domain name, something that is a domain of something else is ok. I want it to work the same as it does when i do a preview in dreamweaver and it opens a browser.

To answer your question, you must upload all of the fils in the FTP of your server. If you have folders named picture on your website, you must have it on your sever. It MUST be a copy of the organisation of your website in folders on your computer.
