How do you send a huge file to a friend? E-mail not big enough!

is Gmail quick for sending large files? any idea on the upload and download speeds?

gmail sends only 10 MB and it does not send exe files.
google page creator uploads 10 MB and it includes every type of file.
the download speed for me is around 1MB/s

2.Upload the file its free

3.youll receive a url of the file that has been uploaded

4.you can give this url to your friend and he can download the file from anywhere.

depositefiiles is like an online harddrive

you can use FTP (which can be free)

person with the file downloads a free FTP hosting program and selects the file.

Person who wants the file gets a free ftp clients (such as core ftp)

Person who wants the file connects with there clients to the person with the file to there server.. and bobs your uncle

My idea is you put that all into a CD and send to him by post. You could buy the cds for cheap price. I dont know about the charge of stuffs sending through posts
