How do you set up Dual Channel?

I have the parts in my signature, and I've placed the RAM in the slots according to the mobo manual. Will dual channel automatically work? Or is there settings that need to be messed with?
 
Yes, if you placed it in the correct specified slots, Dual channel will work. No other things are needed to be done. It's automatic...
 
Benchmarks have shown that most Dual Channel configurations really don't show THAT much of an increase in performance with just regular use. High RAM-usage programs such as Photoshop or Video Editing software or gaming have said to show improvements though. Let us know if you've noticed any major performance increases.

At this point, it's kind of hard to buy a mobo without dual channel capabilities and most people usually buy 2 or more sticks of RAM when putting together a PC anyway so it's kind of stupid not to. Anyway, just saying.
