How do you setup a big screen?

I am using a 49" tv untill I get my new monitor..
It has dual dvi out and s video so I am using the
S video into the tv.. Problem is everything is blurry
and I have it set to 1024.. xp lists only 640 or whatever and 1024


where should I configure the resolution so I can see the screen better?

Would be better if the TV had a VGA input or better still DVI. S-Video isn't fantastic for image quality with any source, especially the high-resolution output of a modern computer.
