How does Backup works?

norton ghost is good it takes a complete image of windows that you can burn to dvd or store on a external hdd or in my case i have another internal hdd just for backups.
if you need to restore windows with the backup image all you do is select that option in the ghost program and it will boot the machine down boot from the ghost cd and away it goes when its finnished windows will be just the same as it was when you made the backup with all programs installed.

Norton Ghost - Great for switching computers and keeping all files at the same time.
Windows Backup - Basically a restore point....
No, their MIGHT be some data lost if you did not backup that part... but otherwise, no. Unless the whole partition or so crashed itself... and lost the backup file with it... but otherwise, no.
