looks good,Although if you plan on very high graphics then you will want more than a 8600GT.

What exactly will you do with that computer ?

As for PSU, well u could always switch case for the Antec Sonata III and use the PSU in it... or you could go for a known good brand 500w PSU, such as the Corsair 520HX or maybe the 550VX, there is also Antec NeoHe 500 or Sparkle Power's 500w version... I think its blue storm 2 or something.

Thanks for posting guys.

what games will you be playing? the 8600GT aint too good.
COD 4 would work fine with 8600GT but maybe not on max settings

I will be gaming... videos... downloads... homework.

-Thanks for the suggestions I would rather use the Apollo case but I'll look into the Corsair PSU's.

thanks blueplum

yeah it should play cod4 on say... medium. i would think.
if you can, get an 8800GT. that will play anything except crysis on very high.

but if not then an 8600gt should be ok i guess.

Thanks, yeah It would be in my best interest to get the 8800GT but I don't have the extra cash right now.

-Also, anyone have anymore PSU suggestions? Around 550-600W

i would say a corsair HX520.

i have an antec earthwatts 500watt.

but the hx520 is modular. so you only plug in the cables that you need. therefore everything will be a lot tidier.

why are you wanting one 550-600watt?

an 8600GT needs a minimum 300watt.

8800GT min-400watt

8800ultra min-500watt.

so dont waste your money on wattage if you can get a better quality one.

Heres one I found that seems pretty reliable and cheap:

Rosewill RP500-2 ATX12V v2.01 500W Power Supply ($49.99

you could also probably save like 10 bucks on buying a gigabyte P31 motherboard instead of a P35.

its not saving much, but theres barely any difference between them, the P35 can support 8 gig of ram and stuff. but yeah. just a suggestion.

by the time you are needing more then 4 gig of ram as standard, the hardware will be past it haha.

but yeah. just get it.
