Nice..

The set-up looks pretty tightz...case is really nice, cpu is decent, mobo is pretty much top of the line and is set-up for sweet sli capabilities, power supply is also sli ready and antec is a great psu company and quite credible, and the ram is from corair what else would you want, also wanna mention that corsair ram is the same ram in maximum pc "DREAM PC", but the only thing i think you should upgrade would be the gpu since it appears your goin pretty high class mine as well spend the extra 60 bucks and get a video card with better spec's like this one..
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150124
and you will have a sweeter set-up for sli and it has way better reviews from customers...comparision below...

7800GT 6800GT
Core Clock 450 mhz 350 mhz
Pixel Pipelines 20 16
Memory Clock 1050 mhz 1000 mhz

And a major thing with the 6800gt is that alot of people say the asus heatsink fans fall off alot....and alot to me is unacceptable especially from a company like asus so mine as well get the card that is faster and pretty much has no flaws...

thanks for the help, i think ill look into the 7800gt, i was worried about those heatsinks on the 6800, what does everyone else think, is this a pretty good combo?
you also said that the CPU was alright, is there a better one in the same price range, i really dont wanna go too much more money though.

if you can afford it i would go with this processor http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103562

and get the 7800 GT

I don't think it's worth getting the Deluxe version of that motherboard unless you really know what you're doing. It has a lot of great features, but unless you know a lot, the extra cash for it will go to waste. Otherwise I think I'd stick to the Premium version.

Definitely spring for a 7800GT these days.

right now the premium version is more then the deluxe version unless im looking at the wrong one??? and if i end up going with the dual core processor and the 7800GT will that system be complete, or is there anything else you would recommend looking into.
Nick

Ok after all the comments and such here is now what im thinking of getting, haha my budget kinda went out the window. but i think this system will make me happy

RAM- http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16820145505

any other comments, or does this look pretty solid, will this blow my old system stated above away?

Looks nice, it's about what i'd build if I could afford it. The only thing i'd change is the RAM. Unless you're looking at getting a second stick later, you'd probably be better off getting 2 * 512MB sticks so you can use dual channel mode.

Also keep in mind that this is Corsair ValueRAM, not XMS. I personally prefer this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227031. It's a little more expensive, but not too much.

Got an extra 78 bucks?

the 3800
http://www.newegg.com/product/Product.asp?item=N82E16819103562
vs.
the 4200
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103547

they are exactly the same EXCEPT the 4200 has a .2 Ghz edge but i guess if u take this into account then someone else will say spend an extra 80 and get the 4400..and another cycle continues...

but the first processor you had is definatly beat down by either of these 2..and final choice is up to you ultimatly and just ask yourself do you think that 80 bucks is worth the extra .2 Ghz or even the extra 160 worth an extra .4Ghz...but the 3800 will do fine in my opinion...

Maybe and maybe not. Cosnider just the 4200:
AMD Athlon64 X2 4200 [Manchester(BH-E4), S939, ADA4200DAA5BV] and AMD Athlon64 X2 4200 [Toledo(JH-E6), S939, ADA4200DAA6CD] are two really different chips: the latter will have a noticably higher operational temperature (same goes for the 3800s) .. that and 4200s overclock better :)
