How Does This System Look?

Im Looking to build a system which is good for Video editing and also for the odd bit of high end gaming, So far I have come up with this configuration:

Asus P8P67 Pro R3 P67 Socket 1155 8 Channel HD Audio ATX Motherboard
Intel Core i7 2600k 3.4GHz Socket 1155 8MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
Palit GTX 560 2048MB GDDR5 256B Dual DVI VGA HDMI PCI-E Graphics Card
CM Storm Scout + Coolermaster Silent Pro 700W Modular PSU *Ebuyer Bundle*
(x3) Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive SATAII 7200rpm 32MB Cache
LG BH10LS30 10x BD-RE with DVD±RW & LightScribe SATA Blu-Ray Drive - OEM Black
G-Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 2133MHz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL11 (11-11-11-30) 1.5V
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional w/SP1 - Licence and media - 1 PC - OEM 64-Bit
Xenta 8 Channel PCI Soundcard with SPDIF and cable included

also I have got 3 6.0gb/s Hard drives and the Mobo only comes with 2 6.0GB/s cables so would I need a special sata cable for 6.0gb/s or will any sata cable work.

Im looking for any suggestions or if any of the hardware is not compatible I would be grateful If you could assist me in finding a replacement.

One quick question, what is the CAS rating?

I am buying this from Ebuyer.com and I picked the parts which I thought would suite my needs

Basically, it is the delay from the memory controller telling the RAM to access a certain register in a memory column. I called it CAS rating (cause it looks like a rating to me), but it is called CAS Latency or CL. Lower the CAS Latency, the faster the memory controller can access a register in a memory column on the RAM module.

CPU & GPU & RAM
Would it be better to cut i7 2600k to i5 2500k, get cheaper RAM, then invest on better video card like 6950 2GB or SSD drive.

Sound card - why do you need low end sound card?
The mobo I recommend would have S/PDIF out.
Or if you want better sound, I suggest you go for Asus Xonar D1/ DX

HDD - why do you choose 3 no. of SATA II? Shouldn't you get SATA III?

I dont think I have missed anything off, I would be greatful if you could tell me what you think and anything else I could change

also I looked at what you said about a SSD and thought it was to expensive for the amount of storage you get.

EDIT: I had a look on the G.SKILL website and it says the Mobo is not compatible for the RAM so I will proberly go for the Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1866Mhz Memory Kit CL9

Unless you really need W7 pro you can save some money by going with home premium.

If you are getting the 2600K I am guessing you are planning to overclock it. You will want a better cooler than stock.
 
I am most likely to overclock at a later date if anything so I will worry about extra cooling if I get around to it.

also what are the benefits over the motherboard you showed me over the one I originally chose.

I thought I edited the post, I meant to delete the gskill because it was running at 1.6v when you would want 1.5v. Sorry about that!

You can use the same cable. I just don't know what kind of speeds you would be getting. I think it is a combination of a device and Sata controller on the MB that decides how fast a device can go, not the cable itself.

And, the memory you found, looks great to me. Honestly, I don't think there would be a noticable performance loss from 1866 mhz to 1600 mhz. And, the CL looks better on that module than the one I posted.
