I just did an internet speed test at some website and these are the results:

Your download speed : 4045 kbps or 505.7 KB/sec.
Your upload speed : 351 kbps or 43.9 KB/sec.

Is this good? Screeming fast, turtle slow, average? I know that its cable internet, but how fast is it compared to the average?

Looks about average or slightly above for a cable connection. I have DSL and get 2.5MB down, 256KB up. My friend has cable and he gets between 4-5mbps.

Thats not your internet speed,, not even close. Thats how fast your router speed is, and thats how limited you are in data tranfer between the router and your computer, and you will be limied to that untill you get a new router not cable.

You router speed and internet or cable speed is much differnt.

MOST LIKLY you have 5mbps or less, the average prabally has 3ish, but it goes up to about 10mbps for a service for the home customer.

Sorry, I meant a physical cable, my curent one is broken so I'm using wireless untill we get another cable. (yeah my familys lazy)

I get about 128 Kilobits ps. I hate my dorm connection. The lowest has been about 80Kb and maxx about 1.2KB

Help me, lol.

thats wat my test said? 1204 kilobytes downloaded in 6.641 seconds. then another site said 1.5 megabits per second but that one was better so im goin with that.

It's also not very accurate since it claims this.

Bandwidth calculation is measured against that of CNET's Internet Services. Bandwidth may be higher or lower depending on Internet congestion. Calculated tests do not reflect server reliability and speed.
