Its not a bad card, but as im sure your aware its not the best, but not the worse..You can not expect amazing graphics off this card, especially considering AGP when most recent games are designed along the new PCI-E...
 
It's a good card for the price. But as mentioned it won't be like blow your mind amazing or anything. Personally I'd go for one a little better, but thats not a bad one either.
 
it'll play any game out there, but not on high, maybe medium ish. I'd personally go for the 6600gt as its only about 20 dollars more and yeilds better performance.
 
I agree, this card, for example is only $3 more after rebate, and will give significantly better performance. I wouldn't be worried about looking for a 256MB card at this price point, it's generally not worth the extra cash, and you can get better performance by looking at a better 128MB card.
 
The memory on the GF6600 posted is 256MB but the memory interface was probably 128-bit. Which would not enable you to make use of the memory completely.
