How heavy is my multitasking? Should I go Intel?

I hope to be running the Unreal Engine 4 dev kit when it comes out. I would preferably like to comfortably run it with things like photoshop and Firefox open at the same time. Is this heavy on multitasking? What CPU would this require? I'd also like to do a bit of gaming on the side as I have enough money for a decent GPU.

AMD FX 8350 Black Edition CPU
Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 Motherboard
8GB DDR3 1333mhz (1x8GB) Ram
1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s HDD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 1GB GPU
Zalman Z3 Plus (Two controllable fans)
550W Corsair VS PSU

Is this overkill on the cpu side? Am I low balling it with the RAM? Should I with Intel's equivalent?

You want to create games, or at least mess around, with UE4, which will be much more intensive then actually playing the game, with a 750? Not gonna happen. UE4 will be quite a bit more powerful and resource intensive then CryEngine 3 from what I've heard, and CryEngine 3 needs a very good GPU if you actually want to do stuff (a 260 can handle just basic stuff like creating land just fine, but actually creating a game?).

So, the CPU is fine, but upgrade the GPU to at least a 770 or R9 290. Also, the motherboard is to low end for a 8350, get a 970 chipset board at least, like this. Get a 2 x 4 GB kit, so you can run dual channel, also 1600 MHz. BTW, this is all assuming you haven't already got the parts. If you have, just stick with upgrading the GPU. Also, which version of Photoshop do you run? Older versions don't play nicely with AMD GPUs.
