How is my system?

got most of my parts delivered exept the motherboard and zalman vf900 and zalman ZM-2HC2(hard drive cooler)

My system:

Intel core 2 duo e6600
asus p5w deluxe
Thermaltake Tsunami
Cosair XMS2 1gb ddr2 800
Zalman cnps9500 for cpu and vf900 for gpu FANS
Western Digital Raptor 150gb
Antec NeoHe 550
Evga 7600gt CO

Can you guys tell me what do you think about this system?

I got that crappy graphic card because i will upgrade when DX10 graphic cards will come out.And mabye will get another memory 1gb when i will be getting my graphic card.
 
you beat me to the punch, DK, the only thing i thought you would need are a better card a another gig of RAM. i think you answered yourself there.
 
ok i will get 1 gb with DX10 but do you think for now 1gb will be good.It wont bottleneck my system?Would i see much improvment with 2 gigs in normal use?
 
If you dont have the money yet, then dont worry about it, wait until your next complete upgrade, like your DX10 one someday. A gig is great, you will just need two in teh future.
 
Personally I would have gone with a higher end video card, such as the 7900GT. But if you plan to upgrade with DX10, thats a good card for the meantime.

1GB is fine for now, but 2GB is coming pretty standard for gaming rigs. And you may actually want 4GB when Vista comes out.
 
do you think 1gb will slow down my boot time?

And what could be my boot time with rig?Just estimated

I dont run a lot of stuff just normal.
 
okay,get ridda that core 2 duo for like 80 dollars to me cuz it sucks,then get an AMD FX-62 and try jamming it into the mobo,it'll work.Trust me :P.

Kidding kidding.No that system is very good,the graphic card and the 1gig of ram is a small bottleneck.Mainly the graphic card though.But you explained yourself so yeah,good good :)
