I just got a Hewlett-Packard dv9500t laptop. Its their top of the line. Here are the specs:
Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit)
- Intel(R) Core(TM) 2 Duo processor T7500 (2.20 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, 800MHz FSB)
- 17.0" WXGA+ High-Definition Ultra HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1440 x 900)
- 2GB DDR2 667 MHz. System Memory (2 Dimm)
- 511MB NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS 256 MB dedicated, 256 TurboCatche
- HP Imprint (Radiance) + Fingerprint Reader + Webcam + Microphone
- Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN Network Connection
- 200GB 7200RPM SATA Dual Hard Drive (100GB x 2)

Hows it look for a gaming laptop? It has Nvidia's second from the top of the line card and it will play DX10 games.
Its the best I could find for under $2k.
