how is this laptop?

How fast is this laptop? is it a good deal for the price 550USD?

Will i notice a performance difference if i were to use this laptop and a centrino/celeron/Pentium M around 2.6 ghz? Whick of these four will be faster if compaired to a Cour Duo T2060?

The Dual-Core cpu is going to drop in price soon, Will the laptops useing these cpus drop in price too?

This depends on what you want to do with your laptop. If you want to play video games and stuff like that then it is not good. Vista uses around 512 MB of RAM at its peak (If I remember correctly). Also your graphics are lacking. However I think if all you want to do is use it for general purpose use like internet, typing etc etc. then it'll be fine. I don't know much about the T2026 processor, but you are right the C2D prices will be going down, but I don't know when. Hope this helps

That's a pretty good price for that type of computer. You definitely want to upgrade the RAM to a full GB, no matter what you are using it for. Now, if you're going to be using it for gaming, I wouldn't go with that laptop at all. But as for a general usage laptop, with the RAM upgrade that would be a pretty good deal overall.
