I'd just like to know your oppinions about it.. I'm planning on getting it for my brother's pc, wich is a 3000+ Athlon s754, a K8v deluxe, 1Gb of ram and a radeon 9550 (agp) card. I know.. its a bit heavy for the system.. but he wants to use it for his next pc too.

well.. im not from the US, so i cant really order from there,. but they have it over here in the shop, so i was just wondering if its ok. (It looks ok to me,.. but I dont know if some people know some negative stuff about it)

Looks OK, but of course it does depend on the price. A reasonably good budget Hipro build, in fact I've even used a couple myself. Do be aware that there are several types of RS-430-xxxx, and make sure you don't get one of the older ATX1.3 versions.

The only real downside is that, IIRC, this model doesn't have a PCI-E connector, which may be a limitation for further upgrades.

it does, actually. (or at least the version I'm going to buy) :)

(1 6-pin pci-e, 1 wire with 3 SATA power connectors (3), 2 wires with 3 4-pin molex connectors (1 of them has 1 extra floppy connector). 1 4-pin 12vATX connector and a 20/24-pin motherboard connector.

That would be the RS-430-PCAP then (told you to watch out for those last 4 letters :)). It should be even better then.

In the US, that $25 price was very good. It's certainly better than most sub-$30 units, although once you move over that $30 mark it starts to loose its appeal. Here in Australia I last paid $55AUD for one (~42USD), which was a good price considering how much more expensive components are over here.

I'm really not sure how much PSUs cost in the Netherlands, I don't suppose there's a (well priced) online site to compare with other units?

Looks good by comparison. The only other unit that jumps out at me there is the Antec Earthwatts 380W, which has a couple more amps on the +12V, slightly higher efficiency and Active PFC. It's still an extra 7 Euros, though.
