How long have you been into...

I've been interested in computers since age 4 (my pre-K had a 486 box with win31) and fixing them since age 11. I started subscribing to a computer magazine in late 2003 and I now sub to 3 or 4.

I've probably been interested for around 4 years now, but only looked into upgrading about 5-6months ago, before then i didn't dare to open the case!
And now i am building my own comptuer for the very first time, which is probably the worst idea ever, i have a bad history of destroying things (accidentally, of course)

So do I, just not accidentally. Like the time I took an axe to a monitor in my bedroom with no goggles....:D my parents flipped, especially when I tried to vaccuum up the glass...

since I was 3, I remember being introduced by my father to the old Apple Centris 660AV fantastic machine - came out 1991 but still great...

Got my first computer about 1995, then tok it apart in 1996 when it broke, then got fascinated by all the parts, spiralled from there really.

I got mine at 1993 when I was 3, I started using it a the age of 5, It was my dad's Apple Macintosh Centris 660 AV, the first computer made for video/sound editing...
I got my own PC at the age of 9, a Pentium 2, 400MHz, then I got the iMac G4, but my dad took it for his work and I got the PC I'm using now.
