My computer needs 50 seconds. Is too slow?
It's my new Lenovo Y450,and the OS is window7.
Have you ever used Lenovo PC?Quality OK?

First, how much RAM do you have and how much of the uneeded bloatware do you still having running on it? By the way, ALL laptop manufactures load their systems with tons of unnecessary software and the best thing is to do is uninstall it.

As for Lenovo not being good, uh, no. Nobody beats their Thinkpads in build quality, particularly their T series. I know many professionals who swear by Lenova. This is not to say others don't have quality offerings either because they do.

Here is a link to Laptop Mag and comparing yours to other saystems. In some cases it doesn't fair so well but in others it comes out ahead. Note the load times: http://www.laptopmag.com/review/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-y450.aspx?mode=benchmarks

I also thought opening the case itseld. Mine takes about half a minute. Maybe your RAM needs upgrading. Also, try minimizing your start up programs, just delete programs that are not really needed upon start up.
