Well, I'm limited by my case being an Antec Nsk1300. Basically the power supply is L shaped, to accomodate for the cpu cooler. Fitting a regular power supply would probably entail cutting the back off the case and leaving it sticking out loads.
My pc is an intel Q6600, a sata optical drive and a sata hard drive.
The power supply is 300w. Antec ar300. Here's a picture if you want to get an idea of the shape:
As you can see, L-shaped and not very big. A bit tricky really. Someone suggest using a vga power supply, but that would use up my only 5.25" drive bay. I was wondering if there are any supplemental power supplies around that are a bit smaller.
Get better power supply or your video card will get overheated and videocard fan will fail. It cause from not enough Amps and It will melt the plastic cover of Videocard.

18 isnt the total amps. im not sure how it works but you have to double what it says or something. basically my PSU puts out 36 amps.. and it only says 18.
same for his. the amps arent a problem. the wattage is.
They come together guys. Power = current x voltage. Since the graphics card is on 12v if you want to go from power to current you just divide by 12. Better to give the current because the power is for the whole power supply including other rails. Now can anyone tell me how much current it will draw?
Hmm, actually thinking about it the size might be quite a big problem. it's fairly long and possible high enough to hit a hard drive. Looks like I might have made some bad decisions about this case.
