how many drives do you have?

i have 8 on my windows 98

a: floppy
c: hdd 1
d: hdd 2
e:CD-ROM
f:zip 100
g:CD-DVD-ROM
h:removable disk or digital camera (whichever is connected first)
i:removable disk or digital camera (whichever is connected first)
 
3 in my main system... 2x RAID and 1 CDRW/DVD-ROM
I then have an external 80G that's mostly used on this sytem and an external DVDRW, mostly used here again.

Most I've had in a system is 5. 25G boot, 80G video storage, DVDROM, CD-RW, floppy.

I'm typcally skimpy when it comes to drives, it helps cut heat down :P
 
I have 3 drives, 200GB SATA (System), 90GB IDE (used for installation files/backup, other files I need for later or I like etc..., and a DVD-R drive.

Sisters- (Camera connected sometimes)
MAX of 8

and the disk letter b is reserved for a second floppy disk

i:1gb usb hdd for camra
g:20gb hdd usb
j:128mb mp3 player
k:1gb usb key(this is hand for downloading drivers for other computer with out internet access.)

My WINS/file server (the so-called Monster Legacy machine) had:

a 3.5 floppy
a 5.25 floppy
a 4x4 CDROM changer
a Zip 100
six hard drives

B drive is for a Large floppy

and in my other very old slow PC I have I harddrive partition'ed into 26 drives(each letter of the alphabet, for orginizing.)
