How many got hit by the Koobface bug? What did you use to get rid of it?

I believe I finally got rid of it. It come through your facebook. It the form of a message from one of your friends. It got me & I am hard to get. My cousin sent me a message or I thought. It was real good. It said look at me in this video or something like that. I did not click on the link but just opening the message chat is how I got infected.

Just Google it. Its big and causing a lot of issues
 
It's a very common infection these days, since there are lots of users of facebook and myspace. You really have to watch yourself on facebook. Just clicking on an external site will get you infected.
 
Agreed. Facebook's new privacy controls are better, but still a joke; to say that there are "alot" of users on myspace and facebook is an understatement; together it comes to around 1 in 10 people on this planet; or 75% of people with Internet access. Wow.

EDIT No wonder those damn things spread so fast
 
yeah i get thing like come check out so and so to a site and i know the person would never do this so i just remove it
