how many passes of memtest86+?

90 percent of the time if memory is bad, you'll see it on the first pass. But to be sure, would at least run a few passes.
 
Most RAM will throw errors pretty soon. If you really want to test your RAM, let it run overnight. But as John said, a single pass should suffice.
