How much difference would this make?

My current graphics card is Geforce 7300 LE (512mb) and I was thinking on upgrading it to something like a Geforce 9600 GT (512mb). At the moment I can't play the very latest games even on the lowest graphics, the fps is just too slow, so I was wondering whether I'd see much difference in gaming after upgrading to this card.:) I have a dual core 2.8 Ghz processor btw
 
that upgrade would blow your mind. my friend got a 9600gt and he can play gta 4 on all high settings, except anti aliasing. if you can, go for a 9800gt(thats what i got and its quite a bit better than his 9600.). its better and not very much more expensive.
