How much Gb does Windows 7 home take up?

Hello,

I am wondering how much Gb space my Windows 7 operating system use up on my HDD?

A fresh install of Windows 7 normally takes anywhere between 16GB and 22GB of space.
 
A fresh install with updates takes up about 20 GB IIRC. Without updates it's about 12 to 15 GB. You can disable the hibernation file which will save a few gigabytes.
 
Generally, a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit is just over 20 GB, this amount can change dependent on whether you're using Professional, Ultimate, or Enterprise.
