How much is this worth?! Please reply ASAP

Hey posting here instead of the buy section because I can't post there for some reason :s


I'm about to sell my PC because its going to help pay for the car I'm getting but I want to know how much its worth. My friend thinks 200 but I'm really hoping hes wrong and its worth at least 300 :s.

Here are the specs and pics:

Alright I think thats all you need to know, I'm not sure I just wrote down what looked important off of DXDIAG, oh and also its winxp.

I reckon around $250 perhaps, maybe a bit less, definitely no more than $300 though. It depends who you're selling it to really, people who know about hardware won't pay a lot more than $200 for it, but people who don't really know or care will likely pay more.

Your images aren't working btw.
 
depends on who you are selling to. I personally would not give much above 200 for it cause it is far put of date. You could probably sell to a local person on craigslist for more, around say 300 if they don't know tech too well.
 
yea. That is a pretty big max for it though. Its out of date and people don't really pay much for old computers.

Shit eh :s i bought in 2008 for 1000 and they told me it was a gaming computer :s Computers update quick oh well, if I can get 300 I'll be super happy. Posted on kijiji for that, if nobody wants it in a week I'll switch to 200

i sold a very similar setup of just parts to a friend, including psu and such for about 200 bucks, she seemed ok with it, was a 65W 5000+ with a phenom ii 955 cpu fan, gigabyte n570 mobo, 2x1 gig ddr2 667, geforce 9600GT and a rosewill 550W psu along with a harddrive, but i wasnt certain it would work, so i just threw it in there. she has been using that hardware to this day. however the mobo did not survive, it just was not posting, so she bought a asus 785G board from newegg and got it running, has been pleased with it :)
 
Re not being able to post in for sale, this forum does not allow such things...You cannot buy there either. At least until you have entered 100 threads/posts in the other forum areas. I know this because I was told this by other forum members on a number occasions recently and I also read rhe forum rules
