how much longer will the e4500 be around?

Someone was telling me that a distributor (D&H) told him that the e4500 Allendale was on it's way out. Any way to confirm this?

It is the lowest e4xxx series Intel sells, so next price drop they will probably just stop selling it.

According to this site and some other sources, the E7XXX is going to be released in Q2 2008 and will replace the E4XXX series as the budget Core 2 processors.

Last time I post a review for E7200

E7200 is just slightly behind E6750 in terms of performance, but it consume less power and it overclocks better
