Right now my Q6600 is at 3Ghz with 1.3V, and I want to get to 3.14Ghz (yes mostly because it's the first 3 digits of pi). When my cpu was at stock everything the auto setting was putting the Vcore at 1.3V, so I set the voltage to 1.3 volts, and tried to see how far up I could get on that. Turns out I was able to get up to my 3Ghz goal, so I tried to jump to 3.14Ghz but it froze at the Vista start up logo.
So in short, what should my max voltage be and what increments should I go up in? Right now my load temps are like 45C (well that's the highest of my cores)
P.S. PLEASE DON'T LINK ME TO THE OC 101, I want personal advice, I've read that already and will resort to that if I don't get any responses.
Thanks in advance
